body, This thing was a human who was only 15 cm tall and was carrying a bow and
an arrow.

Main
Points
1 - Gulliver started his second voyage on " the
adventure" on 20th June 1702 with the captain of the ship John Nicholas .
They were planning to go to India. When they reached South Africa, they stopped
for fresh water.
There , they discovered that the ship had a hole and
the captain fell ill , so they had to spend all winter there.
2 - They left passing the island of Madagascar. The
wind became stronger and they sailed against the wind for about twenty days.
When the wind became calm, Gulliver was glad , but the captain told him not to
be glad because his experience told him that a great storm was coming.
3 - The captain was right, there was another storm
after two days. They took down the sails to control the ship , but the wind
controlled the ship and they didn't know where they were. Luckily, the ship was
strong and they had good supplies of food. There only problem was that they
didn't have much fresh water.
4 - On 16 June 1703, they found land and they got
closer to it . They found it was a bay.
The captain thought that it was not deep enough to go on , so they put down the
anchor near the coast. The captain asked twelve men to go ashore in a small
boat to find fresh water. Gulliver asked the captain to go with the men and the
captain agreed.
5 - They reached the beach, but they didn't see any
people nor any fresh water. They decided to walk along the beach to look for a
stream or a spring. Gulliver walked alone for about an hour. The place didn't
attract him as there were no trees and full of rocks. So, he decided to return
to the beach.
6 - When Gulliver reached the beach, he found that the
sailors were rowing and leaving in the small boat. Gulliver was about to call
out to them , but he couldn't believe his eyes when he saw a giant walking into
the sea towards the boat. Gulliver ran as fast as he could. He climbed a hill
and was surprised.
7 - On the hill, he was surprised because he saw many
fields with very long grass with six meters high. He walked along a wide rough
road through the fields. After about one hour he reached the end of the field
and found a huge wall. Although the walls had steps, Gulliver couldn't climb
them as they the step was two meters high.
8 - Gulliver saw a giant man of the same size as the
person on the beach. When Gulliver saw the man , he was terrified. The man
called other men . The men were seven and were carrying scythes to cut the
wheat. Gulliver tried to hide but the men were getting closer and closer to
him. Gulliver was exhausted and began to think of his family and his friends
who advised him not to make that journey.
9 - During that he remembered Lilliput where he was
important6 and strong. He realized that nothing was big or small unless we
compared it with something else. Suddenly , Gulliver saw that one of the giants
was walking towards him. He was afraid that the man might stand on him so he
shouted loudly. The giant stopped and too Gulliver with his fingers. When the
man picked him up, Gulliver looked at the sun and began to pray that the man
wouldn't throw him onto the ground.
10 - Gulliver told the man that he was hurting him.
The man carefully put him in his pocket and ran to find his master . The man
looked at him and asked his men if they had seen an animal like him before. The
man put Gulliver on the ground . Gulliver walked up and down to show that he
was not going to run away, he took off his hat and bowed to the farmer.
Gulliver took out a bag of gold coins and offered it to the man. The man
ordered his men to go back to work. The man then put Gulliver inside his enormous
handkerchief to take him to his house to show his wife.
11 - When the wife saw Gulliver she screamed like a
child as if she saw a big spider. On having his food with the family
(man-wife-three children and grandmother) , the man put Gulliver on the table.
The wife gave him a plate of food , luckily , Gulliver had his own fork and
knife that he used for eating. They children were pleased and offered him water
in a cup, but he couldn't drink as it was huge. He thanked the children for the
water.
12 - The farmer's son who was about ten years old
picked Gulliver and held him by his leg so high, but his father took Gulliver
and put him on the table saying something angrily to the boy. Gulliver was
afraid that the boy might hurt him later so he asked his father not to punish
him.
13 - Suddenly ,
Gulliver saw a cat of the size of three cows. He was intelligent and tried to
prevent it from attacking him by walking up and down in front of it. The main
thing that worried him after that was the baby girl who thought that Gulliver
was a toy and wanted to play with him. The girl started to put him in her mouth
, so he shouted. The girl was afraid and dropped him to the ground.
